Wendy Lewis was a finalist in the English National Opera Mini Opera competition 2013. As a result, she teamed up with Berlin-based composer Yuval Halpern to write Cumulonimbus (2013), a choral piece for North Cambridge Family Opera, USA; and to devise an original piece of musical theater to appeal to adults and children alike. The result was the family musical What’s my Color?

As well as nine stage plays, Lewis has written 12 books ranging from biography to true crime.  Recent stage productions include The Devil’s Caress, Factory Space Theater, Sydney, 2018 and the musical Defeating Roger Federer, New Theater, Sydney, 2020.  Lewis is based in Sydney, Australia and is a full member of the Australian Writers’ Guild (AWG), Australian Society of Authors (ASA), Writing NSW, Australian Crime Writers and Sisters in Crime.
